Janet C. (Burger) Mark

Janet C. Mark, 85, of Lewistown, passed away at 12:43 a.m., Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Greenwood Village.

Born Oct. 27, 1938, in Middletown, she was a daughter of the late Paul L. and Theresa (Goslin) Burger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: husband, Rev. George H. Mark, whom she married May 27, 1955, on Jan. 30, 2019; son, Timothy Mark in 2013; brothers, Vernon, Robert, Paul and Ray Burger, and sister, Joann Wright.  She was the last of her immediate family.

Janet is survived by her son, Nathaniel Mark, of Lewistown.

She was an active member of Paintersville Christian and Missionary Alliance (CMA) Church, where she taught Sunday School and served as choir director and church pianist.

A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, at Mount Rock Cemetery, Oakland Avenue, Lewistown, with Mr. Buck Carolus officiating.
