Jeffrey L. Earnest

Jeffrey L. Earnest, 58, of Lewistown, passed away at 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at his home.

Born March 1, 1960, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late David L. Earnest and Anna (Miller) Earnest, of Milroy, who survives.

In addition to his mother, Jeffrey is survived by: his children, Roy S. Earnest and wife, Paula, of Mifflintown, and Lisa K. Earnest, of Collegeville; grandchildren, Hunter and Hayden Earnest; and siblings, Kathy A. Moore and Steven D. Moore, both of Duncannon.

He attended Kishacoquillas High School and later earned his G.E.D. He served with the Army National Guard for 20 years.

Jeffrey was employed by Millerstown Chrysler Motors as an automotive mechanic for many years before retiring.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2018, at Barrville Mennonite Church, 48 Barrville Mountain Rd., Reedsville, with Rev. Carl Geissinger officiating.
