Jessica A. (McKinnon) Romig, 40, of Lewistown, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024, after a very long battle with cancer.

Born November 29, 1983, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late John Jr. and Julie (Ream) McKinnon. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Madison Beers, and Alyssa McKinnon; grandparents, John Sr. and Lorraine McKinnon, grandmother, Shirley Wright; mother-in-law,  Mary Romig.

Jessica is survived by: her husband Richard C. Romig; her children, Cheyenne Coudriet, Marissa Coudriet, Ryan Romig, Drew Finkenbiner, Kennedy Romig, Payton Romig all of Lewistown; brother, John McKinnon III, of Lewistown; aunt and uncle, Ron and Nancy Smith, of Strodes Mills, aunt, Traci McKinnon, of Lewistown; father-in-law, Larry H. Romig, of Port Royal; sister-in-law, Shelly Romig, of Union Hall, VA, brother-in-law, Larry Romig wife Melissa, of Port Royal; and her best friend, Rose Coudriet.  

Jess was such a bright light to all of her friends and family.  No matter how bad she was feeling she still tried to make sure everyone was taken care of. She strived to bring happiness to others. She was up for any adventure, especially shopping. She enjoyed building doll houses and playing FarmVille. She was always willing to try new recipes or projects that the kids wanted to do. She looked forward to family dinners every Sunday with her brother.
