John W. Allen, Sr., 73, of Lewistown, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at William Penn Nursing & Rehabilitation.
Born February 14, 1952, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Earl Allen and Mary C. Allen.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother Dennis Williams and several other brothers and sisters.
John is survived by his children; Matthew, Kelly, Kimberly, John W. Jr., Jessica, Anthony and Courtney Allen; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Virginia Jones.
He was employed at Overhead Door.
John enjoyed building model cars, fishing and archery. He was a fan of professional wrestling and NASCAR, and he was an avid bingo player.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home.
