John R. McTavish III Obituary
John R. McTavish III, 45, of Lewistown, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Lewistown-Geisinger Hospital.
Born August 9, 1979, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late John R. McTavish II and Betty (Ettinger) Morrison.
He is survived by; ex-wife, Edria McTavish; children, Dustin Wagner, of Lewistown, Avery Ettinger, of Alfarata, Tylor Ettinger, of Lewistown, Noah, Colton, and Emma McTavish, all of Lewistown; grandchildren, Björn Wagner, James Haines, Leon Ettinger.
John dedicated his working years to Empire Kosher Poultry in Mifflintown.
He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing, camping, tinkering, and fixing things. He was also known for his willingness to help others.
Per his wishes, no services will be held.
Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St. Lewistown.
