John L. Miller Sr.

John L. Miller Sr., 78, of Lewistown, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at his home.

Born February 12, 1946, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Harry Miller Sr. and Patricia (Varner) Miller.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; a daughter, Leslie Miller; siblings, Maxine Miller and Harry E. Miller Jr.; and half-sisters, Anna Mae Earnest, and Ruth Kittel.

He is survived by; children, John Miller Jr. and wife, Amy, of Lumber City, Jody Miller, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Tatum, Taryn, Logan, Aaron Miller, and Sierra Hockenberry; siblings, Leilani E. Weaver, Jeanie Fetterman, Lori A. Kulp, all of Lewistown, and Tina Miller, of Reedsville.

John was a United States Navy veteran.

He worked in the manufacturing business. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John’s memory to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. It was a cause he was very passionate about.
