Joseph Van Scyoc Obituary
Joseph A. Van Scyoc, 61, of Lewistown, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born January 14, 1962, in Hanover, he was a son of the late Donald Van Scyoc Sr. and Wanda (Helwig) Van Scyoc.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by; a daughter, Kristy Van Scyoc.
He is survived by; daughters, Mary Ballaro and husband, Carmelo III, of AR, and Steffanie Van Scyoc, of Oregon; grandchildren, Arien, Carmelo IV, Jamie, Abigail Ballaro, and two additional grandchildren; and siblings, Jean Baumgardner and husband, Donald, of Alabama, Donald Van Scyoc Jr. and wife, Robin, of McClure, Cathy Van Scyoc, of Burnham, Terry Van Scyoc, of Alabama, and Chris Van Scyoc, of Alabama.
Joseph worked at Red’s Diner and Trinity Plastics.
He was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed hunting.
No services to be held.
