Joyce M. Hertzler

Joyce M. Hertzler, 86, of Milroy and formerly of Burnham, passed away at 2:57 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at her home.

She was born Dec. 3, 1935, in the Village of Lumber City, Mifflin County.       

Preceding her in death were:  husband Charles E. “Ed” Hertzler, July 6, 1998; son, Randy D. Hertzler, Oct. 17, 2005; and daughter-in-law, Jana R. Hertzler.

Joyce is survived by: children, Gregory E. Hertzler and wife, Debbie, and Kimbra J. Hertzler Daubert, both of Burnham, and Kathy A. Aumiller and husband, Joe, of Milroy; sister, Debra Sheibley and husband, Jim, of New Bloomfield; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. 

She was Methodist by faith.

Joyce was a 1955 graduate of Burnham-Derry High School.  She always looked forward to attending monthly luncheons with her classmates.

Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.      

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joyce’s memory may be made to 365 Hospice LLC, 220 Regent Court, Suite F, State College, PA 16801.
