Julia C. Brower, 92, of Lewistown, died October 4, 2025, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Born July 25, 1933, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late James Newlands and Grace (Stumpff) Newlands.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. Brower; daughters, Pamela J. Brower, Wanda L. Armstrong, and Tonda L. Stewart.

Julia is survived by her son, Rodney Brower and wife, Toni, of Lewistown as well as nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren.

She was a seamstress for Kirby’s Manufacturing in McClure and was also employed at Lewistown Hospital, Hartley’s Potato Chip Factory, Green Gables and Holiday Inn.

Per Julia’s wishes there will be no public services.
