June E. Dickson, 94, formerly of Burnham, passed away, Friday, April 19, 2019, at William Penn Nursing Home.
Born March 11, 1925, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Stanford E. and Mabel (Berkey) Walker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; her husband, Eugene L. Dickson, who passed in 1987; siblings, Theda M. Stahl, James Walker, Robert Walker and Clyde Walker Sr.
She is survived by; children, Gary E. Dickson, and wife, Sandra, of Lewistown; Carole Peters and husband, James Sr., of Reedsville; Jeffery L. Dickson and wife, Barbara, of Missouri; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.
June was a Lewistown High School graduate, Class of 1943.
She worked at Cluett Peabody shirt factory for 25 years, retiring in 1976. June enjoyed traveling and camping. She loved all dogs, especially her dog, Tiffany. She will be dearly missed by her family.
A viewing will be held from noon to 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., with Reverend Jean Ward officiating.
Private interment will be held at Juniata Memorial Park, at the convenience of the family.
