Katherine D. Renard

Katherine D. Renard, 57, of Blairs Mills, entered into rest surrounded by family, February 4, 2020, at Hershey Medical Center.

Born October 29, 1962, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Goshorn and Betty (Parson) Goshorn, who survives.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by: children, Cory Jo Herto, of East Waterford, Linda Sue Leach and husband, Joshua Williams, of Honey Grove, and John Leach and wife, Stacey, of Mifflintown; eleven grandchildren, Jason Landes Jr, Robin Landes, Sharon Herto, Elizabeth Haubrick, Kyle Haubrick, Evan, Kenzie, Rylee, Emma, Kinser, and Declan Leach; siblings, Keith Goshron and wife, Carmen, of MD, Leroy Goshorn, of Mifflintown, Samuel Goshorn Jr., of Concord, Nancy Parson and husband, Roger, of East Waterford, Denise Reeder and husband, Bill, of Shade Gap.

Earlier in life, she worked at Ingram and Empire. Katherine (Nana) was short in stature but had a huge heart that lit up her grandchildren’s lives. She loved them dearly and centered her well-lived life around them. She had a love for the simpler things in life. Gardening, hummingbirds, and her faithful companion, Buster. She was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others' needs before her own. She always made time for everyone and provided support and love for her family.

Services are private and held at the convenience of the family.
