Kay Frances Geedy Obituary

Kay Frances Geedy, 82, of McClure, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.


Born January 9, 1942, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. Everly and Mary (Klinger) Everly Powell.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Geedy Sr., whom she enjoyed her 61 years of marriage to the love of her life; and a sister, Linda Keim.


She is survived by her children, John F. Geedy Jr. and wife Stacey, of McClure, Randy S. Geedy and wife, Rhonda, of McClure, Marlin R. Geedy, of Lewistown, Jo Ann K. Geedy and companion, Miki Campbell, of Lewistown; seven grandchildren, Timbra Lynn, Amanda Jo, Dais, Jonathan Matthew, Ashley, Holly Jo Ann, Cole Richard; eleven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harry W. Everly Jr. and wife, Linda, of Lewistown.


Kay was a member of the Burnham Church of Nazarene.


She attended Chief Logan High School.


Kay loved reading, crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren, and going out to eat with family friends.


A receiving of friends will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
