Kay Louise Leach, 68, of Mifflintown, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, Select Specialty Hospital, in Camp Hill.
Born Feb. 27, 1956, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Irvin Sr. and Gladys (Yocum) Byler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl D. and Robert L. Byler.
Kay is survived by: children, Donna Royer and companion, Shawn Fains, of Harrisburg, and Jason Taylor, of Mifflintown; grandchildren, Gordon Hawkins and Derrick Coudriet; great-grandson, Raiden Hetrick; and brothers, Irvin Byler Jr. and wife, Lisa, of McClure, and Lawrence Byler and wife, Karen, of Mifflintown.
She attended Juniata Joint High School.
In her earlier years, she was employed as a cook at Hoagies and More in Burnham.
Kay was an avid wrestling fan and enjoyed playing Bingo and listening to Elvis Presley and Toby Keith music. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson, and loved her dog, Boomer.
A celebration of life will be held at noon on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024, at The Arch Rock Church Center, 745 Arch Rock Road, Mifflintown.
