Kenneth Barlett Obituary

Kenneth Dwight Barlett, 81, of Lewistown, passed away at 12:51 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, at his home.

Born Oct. 13, 1943, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Kenneth T. and Evelyn (Cassel) Barlett.

Kenneth is survived by: wife, Karen E. (Watts) Barlett, whom he married Nov. 27, 1972; son, David D. Barlett, of Lewistown; granddaughters, Hannah and Lily Barlett; and siblings, Delane E. Woods, of Lewistown, and Dewain D. Barlett and wife, Ruth, of Belleville.

He was a Lewistown High School graduate, Class of 1964.

Kenneth was a member of The Journey Church.

He retired as a laborer from Guardian Glass.

Kenneth enjoyed hunting and dearly loved his grandchildren.  He was a prankster and enjoyed teasing his family and telling jokes.

A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 North Main Street, Lewistown, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Reverend Darrell Wireman officiating.

Interment will take place at Pleasant View Cemetery, McVeytown.
