Kirk R. Lauver Obituary

Kirk R. Lauver, 62, of Mifflin, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025, at his home.


Born April 2, 1963, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late James L. Lauver and Thelma A. (Walters) DeLauter.


In addition to his parents, and stepfather, Donald P. DeLauter, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Tikka Lauver.


He is survived by his children, Ashley Lauver, and companion, Amos Fisher, of Lewistown and Cody Lauver, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Fabian Plesce, Anthony Lauver, Zander Weber and Ellijah Lauver; siblings, Kris Lauver and Lisa Lauver and companion, Scott Russell, both of Mifflintown.


Kirk was a member of the U.S. Army.


For many years, Kirk worked as a well driller for Hubler Well Drilling and Shoop’s Well Drilling, dedicating himself to a profession that brought resources to countless families throughout the region.


Kirk especially cherished the time he spent with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was an enthusiastic fan of racing, admired Dale Earnhardt, and took great joy in classic cars, and working on his Z28 and enjoyed hunting.


Services will be held at the convenience of the family.


Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 200 N. Main Street, Lewistown.
