Larry J. Yetter, 73, of East Waterford, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025, at his home.
Born May 6, 1952, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Harry W. and Edith (Yoder) Yetter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lola Yetter and his brother, Samuel Yetter.
Larry is survived by his children, Adam Yetter and wife, Enna, of Harrisburg, Tammy Mowery and husband, Tim, of Reedsville and Jenifer Yetter and companion, Matt Chester of East Waterford, grandchildren, Naseem, Hayat, Jayden, Mayson and Faith, sisters, Sara Casner and Sandra Yetter, both of McClure. He was also “Pap” to many others.
He was a graduate of Chief Logan High School.
Larry was a supervisor at Empire Kosher and spent 51 years as a loyal employee.
He found joy in hunting and fishing. Larry never missed a chance to cheer for Penn State University and the Philadelphia Eagles during football season. Beyond his love for football, Larry was passionate about racing. He also enjoyed caring for his beef cattle and took pride in decorating his home with Christmas lights each year.
Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 200 N. Main Street, Lewistown.
