Laura L. (Mock) Patterson

Laura L. (Mock) Patterson, 40, of Marina California, passed away at 1:57 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2020, at Community Hospital, Monterey, California.
Born Sept. 15, 1979, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Shirley Burge-Mock, of Lewistown, and Robert Mock Sr, and wife, Amy, of Huntingdon.
She was preceded in death by: her aunt Betty, and maternal grandmother, Eleanor.
She is survived by: her husband, Jason Sr., whom she married on Sept. 16, 2014; two children, Jason Jr. and Jeremy; siblings, Robert Mock Jr. and wife, Stacy, of Burnham, Amanda Goodling and husband, Norman Jr., of Beaver Springs, and Melissa Mock, of Lewistown; several aunts and uncles along with nieces and nephews.
Laura was a graduate of the L.A.H.S class of 1998.  She earned a master’s degree from Lock Haven University and a master’s degree from Monterey Peninsula College.
Growing up Laura participated in a vast variety of extracurricular activities including but not limited to basketball, color guard, choir, and various clubs. As an adult, she enjoyed motherhood, collecting Harry Potter and butterflies, reading, face-timing family from her hometown, and trips back to PA.
There will be a celebration of life held for Laura at the Brooklyn Hose Company, Sunday, August 9, starting at 1 p.m. for family and friends.
Memorials can be made in Laura's name to a charity of your choice. Flowers can be sent to 218 S. Main St Lewistown PA, 17044.
