Linda R. Slemons

Linda R. Slemons, 79, of Lewistown, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026, at her home.

Born on April 14, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Fred H. Dupert Sr. and Winifrd R. (Bookwalter) Dupert.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Slemons; and a brother, Fred H. Dupert Jr.

She is survived by her two daughters, Wendy J. Bickhart, and Rhonda L. Pandel, both of Lewistown; grandchildren, Danielle Bunch and husband, Travis, Derek Pandel, Justin Pandel and fiancé, Kylee, Dylan Pandel and wife Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Ashlyn, Owen, Sophia, and Lily; a sister, Penny Hannon and companion, Bert, of Maitland; sister-in-law, Patsy (Nester) Dupert, of SD.

Earlier in life, Linda was a member of Strodes Mills Baptist Church. She graduated from Lewistown Granville High School in 1966 and spent 35 years working as a housekeeping aide at Lewistown Hospital before retiring. She cherished time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Friday, July 31, 2026, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn.

Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
