Lois Romaine (Angney) Miller

Lois Romaine Miller, 92, of Lewistown, passed away at 7:25 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2022, at her home.    

Born June 23, 1929, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Deffenbaugh) Angney. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Richard L. “Dick” Miller; son, Thomas Miller; three brothers, Bob, Nick and Lou Angney; and five sisters, Arletta Whike, Dorothy Jones, Virginia Allen, Geraldine Steiner, and Mary Graham.           

Lois is survived by: daughter, Linda L. Anderson, of Alfarata; three grandchildren, Scott B. Anderson, of Alfarata, with whom Lois resided, Tammy Lutes and husband, Greg, and Ryan Miller; three great-grandchildren, Evan Miller, and Kayla and Sierra Lutes; and a great-great-grandson, Nolan Samsel. 

She was a graduate of Lewistown High School, Class of 1947.    

Lois retired as a lead assembler from Fisher-Sanyo Audio in 1991.    

She enjoyed gardening and bird watching.   

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
