Lori A. "Spiff" (Sechrist) Groce

Lori A. ‘Spiff’ Groce, 50, of Lewistown, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021, at her home.

Born July 16, 1970, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Patricia A. (Powell) Sechrist.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, Steven Sechrist.

Lori is survived by: companion, Rodney Miller, of Lewistown; children, Jonathan Groce, and Tori Groce and fiancé, Mark Lindstrom, both of Lewistown; grandson, Hayden Lindstrom; and siblings, Thomas Sechrist and wife, Bobbi Jo, Jeff Sechrist and companion, Lori Liddick, and Melissa Sechrist and companion, Anthony Parson, all of Lewistown; and sister-in-law, Kim Diven and husband, Harry, of Honey Grove.

Lori was a Mount Union High School graduate.

She was employed in dietary services at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lewistown.

Lori loved spending time with her family and was always taking care of everyone else.  She enjoyed shopping and going to Dunkin’ Donuts.   

A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 North Main Street, Lewistown.  The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.

Interment will take place at Atkinson Mills Cemetery, McVeytown.
