M. Claire Vannicola, 94, of Reedsville, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Friday, February 14, 2025.

Born January 25, 1931, in Punxsutawney, she was the daughter of the late Leon R. and Phyllis E. (Bowser) Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Vannicola; and siblings, Russell Davis and Gale Davis.

She is survived by her daughters, Kristie Klinger and husband, Neil, of Winfield, Pa and Karen Treaster and husband, Ed, of Douglasville, Ga.; grandchildren, Carly and Grant Klinger, Corey Treaster, Mitchell Treaster and wife Merci; great-grandchildren, Harper, Bennett and Oliver Treaster.

Claire was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and devoted her life to taking care of her family. She also enjoyed planting her flowers, and sitting outside admiring their beauty along with her friends and neighbors.

Private interment will be held at Circle Hill Cemetery, Punxsutawaney, Pa.

Memorial contributions in Claire’s memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Lewistown Home Health.
