Margaret E. (Hummel) Morgan

Margaret E. Morgan, 89, formerly of Lewistown, passed away at 2:27 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.   

Born May 31, 1931, in Burnham, she was a daughter of the late Ralph W. and Mildred F. (Cunningham) Hummel. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Russell F. Morgan; and sisters, Evelyn Rosenberry, Jean Fuhrman and Annie Kelly.   

Margaret is survived by: sons, Russell M. Morgan Sr. and wife, Lynne, of Thomasville, Stephen D. Morgan Sr. and wife, Penny, of Burnham, and Brian L. Morgan, of Lewistown; seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.   

She was a graduate of Burnham High School.

Margaret attended Little Valley Presbyterian Church, in Vira. 

She enjoyed being a homemaker and was a loving and devoted mother and wife.   

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will take place at Lind Memorial Cemetery, Lewistown, with Rev. James Bricker officiating.
