Marjorie A. Patterson, 98, of Yeagertown, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 11, 2025, just nineteen days shy of her 99th Birthday.
She was born on July 30, 1926, in Burnham to the late Chester and Helen (Gottschalk) Heefner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Pete” Patterson, with whom she shared 51 years of marriage; and her sisters Jane Pitzer and Winifred Anderson.
She is survived by her three children, Sharon (Marcus) Hickman, of Myrtle Beach; Denise Miller and her companion, Doug Tosten, of Mifflintown; and Denny (Angie) Patterson of Lewistown. Grandchildren Justin, Ashlee, Nicole, Dylan, and Zachary; nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and one sister, Mary Ann McKenzie, 102, of McLean, VA.
Marjorie devoted herself to being a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, puzzles, and her time at the senior center. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was loved by all.
A receiving of friends will be held from 10 to 11 am., Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 108 1st Ave., Burnham, with a memorial service at 11 am, with Rev. Charles Hershberger officiating.
