Marlyn G. Solt, 71, of Mifflintown, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born June 7, 1950, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Jesse James Wileman and Freda K. (Rowles) Bargo, who survives.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by; a stepfather, Philip Bargo; sisters-in-law, Betty Wileman, and Connie Wileman; and a brother-in-law, Robert Freeman.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by; her husband, Ray Jackson Solt, of Mifflintown, whom she married on June 26, 1993; three daughters, Penny Foster and husband, Daniel Sr., of Yeagertown, Sally Walters and husband, Michael, of Parkview, and Gail Forsythe and companion, James Kirk, of East Waterford; ten grandchildren, Brittany Ruble and husband, Clay Sr., Christopher Walters and wife, Samantha, Daniel Foster Jr., Alyssa Basom and husband, Tim, Jesse Kirk and companion, Tyler Rosenberry, Johanna Walters, Bryer Kirk, Tigran Kirk, James Walters, Joseph Kirk; great-grandchildren, Clay Jr. Ruble, McKenna Ruble, William Ruble, Rosalyn Ruble, Tenzin Ruble, Malachi Walters, Michael Walters, and Matthew Walters, Octavian Basom, Braylee Basom, and baby Lennox Ruble on the way; siblings, James Wileman, of Honey Grove, Sandra Haines, of Lewistown, and Glen Wileman and wife, Robin, of Mifflintown.
Marlyn was a member of Parkview Church of the Brethren in Lewistown.
Earlier in life, she worked at Empire Kosher.
She loved spending time with her family and friends and being able to share her love and kindness. She loved her church family and lived for the Lord. Marlyn enjoyed going night fishing, crafting, and crocheting.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Parkview Church of the Brethren, 990 Parcheytown Road, Lewistown, PA 17044, with Pastor Teresa Fink officiating.
A receiving of friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with a memorial service to follow at 8 p.m., with Pastor Teresa Fink officiating.
