Mary Ann Grubb, 74, of Lewistown passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2021, surrounded by family at their home.
Born on May 25, 1950, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Ida A. (Swarmer) Penepacker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R. Samuel Grubb; and brothers, Larry B. Penepacker and Kenneth W. Penepacker. Mary Ann was the last of her immediate family.
She is survived by her loving cousins and their families; as well as good friends and neighbors.
Early in life, she attended Strodes Mills Baptist Church. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church.
She attended Lewistown High School.
Mary Ann worked in the beaming department at Avtex Fibers for 20 ½ years, later Lewistown Specialty Yarns, where she retired in 1995.
She was a huge sports fan of Penn State football, Pittsburgh Steelers football, and Pittsburgh Penguins.
A viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2024, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
Interment will be held at Juniata Memorial Park.
