Mary G. Hesketh, 83, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born September 23, 1941 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Charles S. and Clara (Rhea) Baumgardner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E. Ray Hesketh Jr.; daughter, Pamela J. Miller; two sisters Clara Smith and Elsie Folk; and a step-son, Earnest Ray Hesketh III.

She is survived by children, Michael W. Porch, of Virginia; grandchildren, Eric Miller and wife, Jennifer, and Benjamin Miller; great-grandchildren, Becca Martinez, Jacob Eckley, Garret Rhoades, Ethan Miller and Axel; brothers, Robert Baumgardner and wife, Judy, of Lewistown, Willard Baumgardner and wife, Connie, of Florida, John Baumgardner and wife, Kathy, of New Oxford; son-in-law, Earl Miller, of Lewistown.

Mary was a Methodist by faith.

She graduated from Chief Logan High School, Class of 1960.

Mary worked as a nursing assistant at Ohesson Manor for 26 years, she retired in 2004.

She loved spending time with her family, her pets, and reading.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Juniata Memorial Park cemetery with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.

Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
