Maxine M. McMaster, 85, of Burnham, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Greenwood Village.

Born April 11, 1938, in Burnham, she was the daughter of the late Roosevelt ‘Rosie’ and Anna (Schlegel) Moyer.

She is survived by her husband, Larry McMaster, whom she married Aug. 2, 1969; children, Daniel McMaster and wife, Tammy, of Lewistown, Jennifer Skelly and husband, James, of Dover, PA; grandchildren, Denise Pierce and husband, Benjamin, Jacob McMaster and wife, Jamie, Emily Skelly and Hannah Skelly; and a great-grandson, Lucas McMaster.

Maxine attended the Burnham Lutheran Church.

She was a member of the Burnham Fire Company.

She was a Chief Logan High School graduate, Class of 1956.

Earlier in life, Maxine worked for Bell Telephone Company as an operator and a Supervisor.

She enjoyed going to play Bingo and in her younger years she was an avid bowler.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham.

A second viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Mark Hill officiating.

Interment will take place at Birch Hill Cemetery, Burnham.
