Melsa A. Haines, 85, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024, at Greenwood Village.

Born July 12 1939, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Anna Mary (Tubbs) Campbell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred C. Haines Sr.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina A. Howell and husband, Michael, of McVeytown, and a son, W. Corbin Haines Jr. and companion, Carol Cowan, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Aron Haines and companion, Brandi Yoder, Rita Clinger and husband, Dwayne; great-grandchildren, Noah, Cortana, Celeste, and Cyrus.

She was a Lewistown High School graduate, Class of 1957.

Melsa worked for various companies through the years; Woolsworth, Fisher Electronics, People’s Drug Store, CVS, and K-Mart.

A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. William Garrett officiating.

Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park.
