Melvin "Dick" E. Stine
Obituary
Melvin E. 'Dick' Stine, 91, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflintown.
Born January 3, 1932, in the Village of Maitland, he was the son of the late Corbin and Frances (Gingrich) Stine. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children.
He is survived by: his companion, Barbara Woodling; five grandchildren, Juanita (Stine) Burgoon, Dixie (Stine) Peth, Seth Stine, Rachel Stine and Taylor Stine; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Dick retired from Ford Motor Company in New Jersey as a laborer.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.
Interment will take place at Maitland Community Cemetery, Crossover Drive, Lewistown.
