Miley N. Wagner, 18, of Lewistown, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at her home.
She was born on May 30, 2006, in Lewistown, the daughter of Jacob N. Wagner, Lonnie Bassler and companion, Thomas Haines, who survive.
In addition to her parents, Miley is survived by siblings, Jacob N. Wagner Jr., of Lewistown, Robert Haines, of Burnham, Joseph Haines, of Oakland Mills, Taylor Haines, of Oakland Mills; paternal grandfather, Jacob E. Wagner II, of Lewistown, maternal grandparents, Kenneth Bassler, of New Paris, Carla Bassler, of Lewistown; aunts, Tara Baldridge, of Lewistown, and Caullie Roberts, of Milroy.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Norma R. Wagner.
Miley attended the Little Valley Presbyterian Church, where she served as the janitor.
She was a 2024 graduate of the Mifflin County High School, where she had fond memories of working with the drama club and being inducted into the Thespian Society.
Miley was a happy soul with a beautiful smile and great laugh. She maintained a positive attitude throughout her medical issues. She enjoyed working with residents of Valley View Haven and had her heart set on becoming a nurse. She loved drawing and was an animal lover.
A viewing will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2024, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the Little Valley Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Graham Fowler officiating. There will be a visitation at the church beginning at 10 a.m. prior to the service.
Interment will follow in the Little Valley Cemetery.
