Myrtle L. Barket, 94, of Cedar Haven Healthcare Center, Lebanon, peacefully passed away on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020.
Born Nov. 20, 1925, in McClure, she was a daughter of the late Franklin and Rosie (Krepps) Wagner.
Surviving are: children, Kevin Rossi, of Hershey, David Barket, of McClure, and Theodora Myers, of Barnesville, Ohio; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and siblings, George Wagner, of McClure, and Shirley Grubbs, of Carlisle.
Myrtle retired as a clinical secretary at Pottsville Hospital with 20 years of service. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos.
The family would like to thank the nurses and aides at Cedar Haven Healthcare for the excellent care provided to Myrtle.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Sat., Jan. 11, 2020, at Bannerville Church of The Brethren, 7502 Stage Rd., McClure, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Donald Wise officiating.
Interment will take place at Bannerville COB Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Bannerville COB, 7502 Stage Rd., McClure, PA 17841.
