Nancy Kay Bowersox, 80, of Lewistown, passed away at 1:45 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2020, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born Feb. 4, 1940, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late John B. and Sara (Rowles) Mackneer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Donald J. "Baldy" Bowersox, Feb. 4, 2008; companion, Kenny Miller; granddaughter, Rebecca Lyter; brothers, John, Dale, and Glen Mackneer; sister, Joan Donaldson; and a sister, in infancy.
Nancy is survived by: children, Christine Lyter and companion, Floyd Shaffer, Daniel Bowersox and companion, Teresa Stine, both of Lewistown; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Deb Rothrock and husband, Steve, of Lewistown; and many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was employed at Empire Kosher Poultry, Lewistown Middle School cafeteria, William Penn Nursing Home, as a home health aide, and at Fuhrman's Cannery.
She loved times spent with her family, campfires, and watching World Wrestling Entertainment, especially John Cena. She also loved Mickey Mouse.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will take place at Mount Rock Cemetery.
Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 North Main St., Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
