Nancy J. Crissman, 93, of Reedsville, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born April 12, 1930, in Milroy, she was the daughter of the late Arthur L. and Stella (Kearns) Hile.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. Crissman, who passed June 19, 1986; a son Jeffrey Scott Crissman; and her siblings, Eleanor Harkness and William Hile.

She is survived by her son, Frank C. Crissman and wife, Tamsin B., of Reedsville; and a daughter-in-law, Linn Crissman, of Pittsburgh.

Nancy was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Milroy, the choir and church council.

She was a 1948 Milroy High School honors graduate.

Nancy was a loving mother and homemaker. She really enjoyed driving school bus for Mifflin County School District.

She loved to work around the house and outside in her yard.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Celebration Villa and Hospice UPMC  Altoona for their great care.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Milroy with Reverend Carla Volland officiating.

Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
