Nancy J. (Liddick) Powers

Nancy J. Powers, 80, of Lewistown, passed away at 2:25 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Dec. 26, 1941, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Frank D. and Carrie (Kauffman) Liddick.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: son, David Powers; grandson, Tyler Powers; and brothers, Donald, Howard, William and Eugene Liddick.

Nancy is survived by: children, Ralph Powers Jr. and wife, Paula, of Belleville, Pauline Stuck, of McVeytown, Mary Solt, of Lewistown, Harvey Powers, of McVeytown, and Barry Powers and wife, Anita, of Granville; four grandchildren, Christopher, Brian and Derek Powers, and Justin “Junior” Young; three great-grandchildren, Skyler and Hunter Powers, and Amelia McCalips; and brothers, Steven and Paul Liddick, both of Lewistown.

In her earlier years, she was employed as a cook at the Heston Inn, Yeagertown.

Private services will take place at the convenience of the family, with interment at Pleasant View Cemetery in McVeytown.

Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
