Nancy (Maiden) Shively

Nancy Maiden Shively, 89, formerly of Reedsville, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020, at Valley View Haven in Belleville, Pennsylvania.

Born April 16, 1931, in Akron, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Helen M. (Klamfoth) Maiden.

She was preceded in death by: husband, George R. Shively in 2011; a son, Walter A. Shively in 1994; two sisters, Marilyn Minkler and Eleanor Spear; and a brother, Henry Maiden Jr.

She is survived by: four daughters, Lorraine D. Sola-Archibeque and husband, Jaime Archibeque, of Los Angeles, CA, April J. Hackenberry and husband, George Hackenberry, of Milroy, Janelle L. Kurtz and husband, Tom Kurtz, of McVeytown, and Lisa A. Myers and husband, Heath Myers, of Shippensburg; three grandchildren, Nicholas Kurtz and wife, Tami Day-Kurtz, Amanda Kurtz and husband Ryan Gupp and Quincey Myers; three great-grandchildren, Dylan, Calvin, and Avalyn Kurtz.

Nancy graduated high school in Akron.  During Nancy’s career, she worked as a real estate agent, restaurant manager, and as a seamstress at Scotty’s Fashions.

She enjoyed sewing, watching movies, and loved spending time with her family.

A viewing will be held from 11 am to Noon, Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown., with a funeral service to follow at 12 pm, with Reverend Allen Hulslander officiating

Interment will take place at Church Hill Cemetery.
