Natalie Ann Sowers, 84, of Belleville, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., at Valley View Retirement Community.
Born December 21, 1940, in Burnham, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Mancino and Agetha ‘Ida’ (Panunzio) Mancino.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth L. ‘SAP’ Sowers Jr., July 26, 2018; two brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth L. Sowers Sr., whom she married Sept. 10, 1960; children, Matthew A. Sowers and wife, Mandy, Christine A. Suloff and companion, Jay ‘Squirrel’ Hetrick; grandchildren, Ava M. Suloff, James A. Suloff and wife, Estrella, Jessica Snyder and husband, Matt, Josh Webster, Liz and Kenny Nace, Tara Murphy; great-grandchildren, Jaxsen Suloff, Ryker Suloff, Hunter Nace, Levi Nace, Avalynn and Adlen Webster; daughter-in-law, Kim Sowers.
Natalie was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
She was a graduate of Lewistown High School.
In her earlier years, she worked at Arrow Shirt Factory for many years, and later retired from Trinity Packaging.
She enjoyed playing bingo with her sister, Angela Dalton and best friend, ‘Moonie’ Fairbanks. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially at the beach.
A viewing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Sacred Heart Parish Church, 106 N. Dorcas St., Lewistown.
Interment will take place in Sacred Heart Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an Alzheimer/ Dementia charity of your choice.
