Patricia L. (Reigle) Olnick

Patricia L. Olnick, 89, of Birch Hill, Burnham, passed away at 8:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020, at Valley View Haven, Belleville.

Born Nov. 26, 1930, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Kathryn (Wilson) Reigle.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by: husband, Michael E. Olnick Sr.; brothers, Herbert, Joseph, Richard, and Gerald Reigle; and sister, Doris Wagner.

Patricia is survived by: children, Sandra L. Hunley, of Reedsville, Michael E. Olnick Jr. and wife, Judi, of Belleville, and Jan O. Smith and husband, Thomas, of Reedsville; three grandchildren, Abby Kate Cramer, Adam K. Hunley, and Alexander B. Smith; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Cecilia Cramer; and a sister, Joan Bay, of Lewistown.

She previously attended Highland Park Presbyterian Church.

In her earlier years, she was employed at The Diana Candy Shop and Speedy Cleaners, in Lewistown, and did volunteer sewing for Ohesson Manor.

She was a life member of City Hook and Ladder No. 14 and Burnham Fire Companies, and a member of the Yeagertown and Brooklyn Fire Companies.  She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.  Patricia enjoyed playing Bingo and cards, sewing, and collecting Elvis memorabilia.

A private graveside service and interment will be held at Birch Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family, with Rev. Robert Zorn officiating.

Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, is in charge of arrangements.
