Patricia A. Traxler

Patricia A. Traxler, 64, of Mifflintown, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born on August 30, 1957, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Merle Zook Sr. and Ann (Swartz) Zook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Merle Zook Jr.

She is survived by; two sons, William Traxler and wife, Melissa, and Michael Traxler, both of Mifflintown; five grandchildren, McKenzie Traxler, Braxton Traxler, Harley Traxler, Mason Traxler, and Austin Traxler; five great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Kaymen, Theo, Kenndee, and Oden; and siblings, Dorothy O’Donnell and husband, Ralph, of Mifflintown.

She was a graduate of Juniata High School.

Patricia worked at Empire Kosher.

She enjoyed crocheting blankets and pillowcases, knitting, and other crafting projects.

A receiving of friends will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with a memorial service at 7 p.m., with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.

Private interment will take place in Cedar Grove cemetery.
