Patsy M. Knepp Obituary

Patsy M. Knepp, 81, of McClure, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at her home.


Born October 3, 1944, in McClure, she was the daughter of the late Lester M. and Flora (Fernberg) Snook.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Mabel Hesser, Arlene Everly, William Snook, Paul Snook, Larry Snook, Etta Haubrick.


She is survived by her husband, Gary Lee Knepp; children, Greta A. Pannebaker and husband, Jeffrey, of South Carolina, Timothy L. Knepp, of Mt. Union; grandchildren, Chelsea N. Wigfield and husband, Phil; great-grandchildren, James Alexander Wigfield, Peyton Grace Wigfield, Henry David Wigfield; many loving nieces and nephews.


Patsy was a member of Dormantown Lutheran Church.


She was a 1962 graduate of Chief Logan High School.


In her earlier years she worked at Kirby’s sewing factory in McClure, where she later retired. She also worked at Beaver shoe factory and Friendly Home Dealer.


Patsy found great joy in participating in the Special Needs Bowling activity, which was a highlight in her routine. Beyond her love for bowling, she also enjoyed spending time sewing and reading, and seek and find books. Additionally, playing the card game pinochle with her family was a cherished pastime that brought everyone together.


A viewing will be held from 10 -11 a.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Dormantown Lutheran Church, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.


Interment will take place at Dormantown Lutheran Cemetery.


Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
