Patsy R. Wetzel

Patsy R. Wetzel, 97, of Lewistown, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Brookline Manor.

Born on May 9, 1926, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Naugle) Billman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Wetzel.

She is survived by; daughters, Connie (Robert) Weader, Donna (Arthur) White, Valerie Deamer; grandchildren, Charlene Markley, Karl Bubb, Laura Kilian, Kenneth McCartney, Douglas McCartney, Matt Deamer, Zachary Deamer, Nicholas Deamer; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Patsy was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She belonged to music study club and the Historical Society.

She was a Lewistown High School graduate, Class of 1944.

Earlier in life, she worked at the American Viscose Corporation, Hoffman Credit Collection, and The United Way.

She loved to knit and also play tennis, which she did till the age of 80. She always looked forward to Wednesdays with her daughters; going on adventures or making crafts.

The family would like to thank Dottie Womer and Becky Brumbaugh for their love and care.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
