Paul Michael “Mike” Pennebaker, 72, of Lewistown, passed away at 9:22 p.m., Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, at his home.

Born Dec. 16, 1951, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Berdgene E. and Mary Alice (Garlock) Pennebaker.  In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas L. Pennebaker, and a sister, Barbara Dempsey.

Mike is survived by:  wife, Della E. (Eckley) Pennebaker, whom he married June 9, 2001; children, Tracy L. Ughetto and husband, Joshua, of Mifflintown, and Jon R. Benevento, and wife, Angela, of Hardeeville, S.C.; grandchildren, Alyssa J. Benevento, Tristen M. Ughetto, and Dominic L. Ughetto; many bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved; and his sister, Joyce Brannon and husband, Bill, of Lewistown.

Mike was a Lewistown High School graduate, Class of 1970.

In his early years, he worked at Arrow Shirt Factory for 13 years.  He retired from Overhead Door Corporation in 2018.

Mike was an avid Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers football fan and loved fishing.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
