Paul L. Spickler, 82, of Lewistown, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021, at William Penn Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
Born October 19, 1938, in McVeytown, he was a son of the late William P. and J. Claire (Shehan) Spickler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; siblings, Sammie Spickler, Mary Earnest, Harry Spickler Sr., Frances Yoder, Donald Spickler, Lee Spickler, Donna St. John, and twins, Wanda Spickler and Martha Spickler.
Paul is survived by; wife, Etta Mae (Crossgrove) Spickler, whom he married July 15, 1961; children, Kim Hower and husband, Wayne, Josh Spickler and wife, Joy; grandchildren, Allison Copenhaver and husband, Ian, Lauren Hower, Jennah Laughlin and husband, Charlie, and Brady Feathers; great-grandchildren, Chloe Copenhaver, Cole, Clay and Jake Laughlin, Brantley and Bryson Feathers; sister, Grace Hoffman; and a sister-in-law, Adaline Spickler.
He was a 1958 Lewistown High School graduate.
Paul was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
He served in the United States Army from 1961-1964.
Paul was a truck driver. In his earlier years he worked at the Royal Dairy, Boring Trucking, and T.C. Daubert Trucking.
He enjoyed watching baseball and football. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Penn State fan.
Due to COVID restrictions, services are private and at the convenience of the family.
Interment will take place at Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown.
