Pauline L. Stoner

Pauline L. Stoner, 83, of Lewistown, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at her home.

Born on July 6, 1941 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Paul R. and Marion L. (Sheaffer) Ernest.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee A. Stoner Sr.; and a grandson, Joseph Lee Stoner.

She is survived by her children, Lee A. Stoner Jr. and wife, Bertha, of Lewistown, Anthony ‘Tony’ D. Stoner and wife, Tina, of Reedsville, and Lisa C. Bollman and husband, Randy, of Lewistown; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marsha Ames and husband, George ‘Rusty’, of McClure.

Pauline was a member of Calvary Bible Church.

She was a Lewistown High School graduate, Class of 1960.

Earlier in life, she worked at Corkin’s Restaurant, Empire Kosher and lastly delivered the Lewistown Sentinel newspaper.

She loved being with her family and friends. She loved animals, especially her cat, Purina, who was her constant companion. She enjoyed going on bus trips and to the beach.

A viewing will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with a funeral service at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Ethan Druckenmiller officiating.

Interment will take place at Union Cemetery Association in Mifflintown.
