Randy L. Beers, Sr.

Randy L. Beers Sr., 59, of Lewistown, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Hershey Medical Center.       

Born May 15, 1962, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Norman Beers Jr. and Linda (Royer) Davis, and husband, Jeremiah Davis, of Lewistown, who survive.       

In addition to his father, Randy was preceded in death by a son, Randy L. Beers Jr., and a sister, Melinda Lynch.

In addition to his mother, Randy is survived by: children, Jeremiah Beers, of Lewistown, and Johnathon Beers, of York; four sisters, Tammy Casalegno and husband, Jeff, of Calif., Penny Vance and husband, James, of Lewistown, Holly Dean, of Burnham, and Buffy Spade, of Lewistown; brother, Norman Beers III, of Lewistown; and half-brother, Keith Davis and wife, Lisa, of Lewistown.

Randy graduated from Lewistown High School.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Randy was employed for 28 years at Overhead Door and lastly, at First Quality in Lewistown.

He was a life member of Junction Fire Company and a member of Mifflin County Forest Fire Fighters.  He fought fires for a number of local fire companies and was an avid racing and Philadelphia Eagles fan.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 North Main Street, Lewistown.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 17, at the Funeral Home, with Mr. Buck Carolus officiating.  

Interment will take place at Lind Memorial Cemetery, Green Avenue, Lewistown.
