Renee Butler, 58, of Lewistown, passed away on September 4, 2026, at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Born April 22, 1968, in Trenton, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Christie Sr. and Gloria J. (Williams) Christie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Butler.

Renee will be remembered for her loving heart, her kindness, and the joy she brought to those around her. She was fun to be with, quick to bring laughter to a moment, and deeply loved by so many. Her family and friends will treasure the time they shared with her and the warmth she brought into their lives.

Above all, Renee loved her family deeply. Her son, Marquise, and her grandchildren were the heart of her world. Being a mother and grandmother meant so much to her, and the love she gave them will remain a lasting part of their lives.

Renee is lovingly remembered by her son, Marquise Williams, of Lewistown; her six grandchildren; her siblings, Camilia Christie of West Palm Beach, Florida, Khalilah Christie of Harrisburg, and Clarence Christie Jr. of Lewistown; and her dear friend, Debbie Rickabaugh, who was like a sister to her and held a special place in her family.

She worked as an Internet Sales Manager for Maroone Ford in Florida, a role that reflected her drive, professionalism, and natural ability to connect with people.

Renee will be deeply missed. Those who knew her will remember her laughter, her good heart, and how much she loved the people in her life.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
