Renna Hetrick Obituary

Renna L. Hetrick, 98, of Lewistown, passed away at 5:28 a.m., Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, at Valley View Haven, Belleville.

Born March 27, 1922, in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late Leroy M. and Leota L. (Baird) Cresswell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Hetrick, June 12, 1999, and her brother, Merle Cresswell.

Renna is survived by: children, Vicki L. Leach, of Lewistown, Martin M. Hetrick and wife, Jane, of Allentown, and William D. Hetrick and wife, Kathy, of Lewistown; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Huntingdon High School, Class of 1940, and Thompson Business School in York.

Renna was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lewistown, and past president and life member of Elks Auxiliary Post 663.  She enjoyed collecting antiques, traveling, and especially loved her cats.

A graveside service will take place at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, at Juniata Memorial Park, 9010 US Highway 522 South, Lewistown, with Rev. Karen McCachren officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Renna's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1375 Martin St., Suite 206, State College, PA 16803.

Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
