Richard C. Bennett Obituary

Richard C. Bennett, 65, of Yeagertown, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025, at his home.


Born August 21, 1959, in Huntingdon, he was the son of the late Richard E. Bennett and Margaret ‘Peggy’ (Swann) Bennett.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Karen Bennett and Patricia Bennett as well as his sister-in-law, Tammy Bennett.


He is survived by his companion, Danielle Daise, of Yeagertown; son, Richard E. Bennett, wife, April; grandchildren, Leon, River and Kolton; siblings, Rocky Bennett, of Huntingdon, Peggy Bennett, of Huntingdon, Natalie Ranck, of Lewistown; many loving cousins, nieces and nephews in addition to his good friend, Steve Allen.


He was a 1977 graduate of Huntingdon High School. He also obtained his bachelor’s degree.


Richard was enlisted in the United States Army, 101st Airborne Division, Heavy Machinery repairman.


Richard worked as a facilities manager where his skills in electrical work and carpentry were widely respected and sought after.


He found joy in cooking, fishing, and the thrill of skydiving.


There will be no services per Richards’ wishes.


Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown.
