Richard Dean "Boazy" Boaz

Richard Dean “Boazy” Boaz, 55, of Lewistown, passed away Tuesday evening, October 3, 2023, at his home.

Born March 28, 1968, in Lewistown, he was the son of Rose Forshey and stepson of Jerry Snyder, of Lewistown, who survive.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, Richard is survived by:  companion, Kristy Snook, of Lewistown; his sister, Brenda Hutchison and husband, Philip, of Lewistown; niece, Casi Hutchison; nephew, Kevin Hutchison and wife, Dara; great-nieces, Adriyanna Hutchison and Miley Knepp; and great-nephew, Zaymon Hutchison.

He was employed as a bricklayer for many years with Richards LLC in Pleasant Gap, and lastly, at Lindsey’s Concrete.

Richard had a good heart and would do anything to help someone in need.  He leaves behind many friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 North Main Street, Lewistown.  The memorial service will immediately follow at 8 p.m., with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.
