Richard Wilson Obituary

Richard ‘Rick’ Earl Wilson, 73, of McClure, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at his home.

Born October 4, 1952, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Earl Gordon Wilson Jr. and Virginia Louise (Taylor) Wilson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Holly J. (Zerbe) Wilson; children, Gregory A. Wilson, and Kerry M. Sizer and husband, Gary, both of Lewistown; grandchildren, Dalton Wilson and companion, Lexi, Darcy Knable and husband, Seth, Cassidy Noss and husband, Parker, Keara Sizer, Derrick Sizer, Devon Sizer, Jason Wilson, Jennica Deavor; three great-grandchildren, Keaton, Bennett, and Zayah; siblings, Sandra Lee Lucas, of Potters Mills, William Wilson and wife, Connie, of Jacksonville, Florida.

Rick was a 1971 graduate of West Snyder High School.

After high school he entered the United States Army.

Rick worked as a conductor and retired from Norfolk Southern.

He enjoyed fishing and watching sports.

A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday, December 8, 2025, at Samuels Church, 480 Samuel's Church Rd, McClure, with a funeral service and military honors to follow at 11 a.m., with Rev. Clark Kelsey officiating.

Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, Lewistown.
