Richard Charles Fink, 86, of Lewistown, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, at home.
Born Feb. 14, 1932, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Richard Fink, and Sarah (Sones).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; wife, Mildred M. “Millie” (Yocum) Fink; siblings, George Fink, Isabelle Walters, Ann Sweitzer, Marion Earnest, Marg Earnest, Nancy Henry and Hilda Fink.
Richard is survived by; children, Brenda K. Fink, of Lewistown, Barry L. Fink, of Lebanon, David C. Fink, of Harrisburg, Rex A. Fink, of Highspire, Christine C. Strausser, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Linda Walters, Joshua Strausser and wife, Morgan, Amanda Strausser, Alyssa Arnick and husband, Jeremiah, Natasha Strausser and fiance, Ray Schreiner; great-grandchildren, Konnor Snook, Henley, Triton and Victor Strausser, Wayatt Arnick, Hayden Hendrickes; sister, Mildred Naylor and husband, Pick, of Lewistown.
He attended Derry High School.
When he was younger, he attended Parkview Brethren church.
Earlier in life, he joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Florida. He later retired from Standard Steel. He enjoyed going to the Yeagertown Fire Company. He would often go fishing and trapping. He was a Phillies fan and a Penn State football fan.
A viewing will be held from noon to 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor Teresa Fink officiating.
Interment will take place in Lind Memorial Park.
